Taumaranui High School Lodge

This is a well-maintained and spacious lodge set in Tongariro National Park with many outstanding outdoor opportunities on its doorstep.

Accommodation:
• The Lodge is well equipped
• The 36 bunks have plastic covered foam mattresses
• You will need to bring your own pillows, sleeping bags etc
• There are two separate bunk rooms, and two chaperone rooms
• Each chaperone room contains two beds and is adjacent to each bunk room, as is a toilet and hand basin
• An ideal base for education, skiing or field trips

Equipment:
• Crockery and cutlery, 36 of everything needed
• Both large and small pots and pans
• Two x four slice toasters
• Microwave
• Fridge/freezer
• Cleaning materials
• Night charge storage heaters

The Whakapapa Camping Ground Store can provide the food or extras you may need. However, ring ahead for bread
