Camp Bentzon

Environment: Located in a bay of North Cove with 29 acres of Kanuka and Manuka, some other natives and ferny glens. Sheltered and secluded in all weather.

Activities: Swimming off jetty, pontoon and sheltered beach (stoney). Adventure playground, volleyball court, play area, fishing, snorkelling, 26 kayaks, 6 SUP boards, 10 optimist yachts, one Mac 370 sailing dinghy, two dinghies, rope swings, confidence course, fitness trail with 11 stations, walks, rope trail through ferns, orienteering, bush walks, archery, abseiling and climbing wall (for use with qualified instructors.) Large BBQ area with night lights, outside fire place and gas BBQ, flat screen with DVD player. Telescopes/binoculars set up for star/ planet viewing.

Accommodation: 120 bunks, mattresses and pillows supplied > Tenting area, please bring your own equipment including mattresses and pillows > Large dining area, common room and drying room > Facilities for people with disabilities

Services: Kitchen - gas stove, fridge, freezer and walk in coolroom, all main cooking utensils, pots, pans, commercial toaster, cutlery, plates and commercial dish sterilizer > Groceries can be delivered by arrangement with Warkworth suppliers
